Living our sustainability policy

The hotel has a sustainability policy that is centered on recycling, energy conservation and green design. We have implemented a range of measures, some hi-impact like installing solar geysers throughout the hotel, others low-impact such as using rechargeable batteries, that ensure our footprint is kept to a minimum. Recycling is a priority and with a Bokashi wet waste facility and recycling bins for paper, glass & tin little waste leaves the hotel for landfills.

We are currently on the Green Leaf Environmental Standard programme that should see us certified mid 2013. We have also undertaken a study on our carbon footprint with Greener Future that will enable us to explore carbon neutrality.
