James Peech started the hotel in 2004. We began with just two rooms and have grown to now have sixteen rooms, a bistro restaurant, a boardroom and a reputation we are proud of. We have retained many staff members who started as the hotel opened and many of them have grown as fast as we have - Tarryn, our General Manager, started as a student.

The hotel is also proud to have been certified by Fair Trade In Tourism. One of the main categories they look at is business ethics and workplace culture and we're delighted to have passed both with flying colours.
